Biography of Pastor Samuel
Pastor Samuel Luzingu is an ordained minister of God with more than 20 years of experience in the church ministry. He is a father of 6 and husband of one wife. His wife, Nadia Luzingu, is also a pastor at Rhema Christian Church Ministries.
Rhema Christian Church Ministries was established in 2010 in Angola by Pastor Samuel Luzingu, who still leads the movement as Senior Pastor. After discerning a call to broaden the ministry’s reach, Pastor Samuel relocated to the United States and, officially launched a branch in Westbrook, Maine in 2020, formally incorporating it as a public charity.
Pastor Samuel was born in Uíge, Damba district of Angola to Bernardo Luzingu and Elizabeth Kwavita. He is the eleventh child in a large, close-knit family, a background that shaped his deep sense of community and service to others. He grew up in the church, which gave him a foundation in the ways of God and an understanding of how to serve Him. As he grew older, he became very interested in God and began to search for Him. As a result, he gave his life to Christ in 1995 and was baptized that same year by his spiritual father, Reverend Apostle Jackson Mputu.
In 2002, Pastor Samuel Luzingu was ordained as an evangelist and in 2009 the Lord called him into ministry as a missionary with the mission to reach the nations with the gospel of Jesus Christ. A year later, in 2010, Pastor Luzingu, together with his wife Nadia Luzingu, founded Rhema Christian Church Ministries with the vision to reach out to the lost and brokenhearted with the gospel of Jesus Christ. As a result, many have come to know Jesus Christ as their Lord and Savior, received the gift of salvation, and been empowered to live for Him every day.
In 2016, Pastor Luzingu and his family moved to the United States; after a couple of years he started a ministry of intercession, which eventually was incorporated as Rhema Christian Church Ministries in the United States in 2020. Pastor Samuel’s life is a testimony of how God can use anyone, regardless of their background or situation. He has always been determined to follow God’s will, and his faith has been a source of strength and comfort to him throughout his life. He has dedicated himself to serving his community and preaching the gospel, and he is always looking for ways to grow and help others. Pastor Samuel is an inspiring example to all, and his story is a reminder that faith can bring hope and healing to our lives.
Family Information
Pastor Samuel Luzingu is married to his beautiful wife Nadia Tica Luzingu, who also serves as a pastor in the church. Together they have four biological children (two girls and two boys), and two adopted children (a girl and a boy). Pastor Samuel and Nadia are committed to raising their children according to the Christian faith and values. They are also dedicated to the mission of reaching out to other people and helping them grow in their faith.
Pastor Samuel Luzingu is a dedicated and faithful Christian who has devoted his life to God. He is a man of integrity and character, who has worked hard for the Kingdom of God. He loves people and desires to see God’s love change lives through his ministry.
As an overseer of RCCM Church, Pastor Samuel Luzingu is not given to drunkenness, not violent but gentle, not quarrelsome, not a lover of money. He manages his own family well and always makes sure that his children obey him with proper respect as it is written in the book 1 Timothy 3:2. As a church leader, Pastor Samuel Luzingu does not engage in dishonest gain but he is an example of good works. He has been known to be faithful in all his responsibilities at RCCM Church. He is also known for being able to teach and train others.
Education background
Pastor Samuel Luzingu has a solid academic foundation. He earned a theological certificate in Biblical Studies from Tiranis School of Theology in Angola and is currently pursuing an online master’s degree at Rhema Bible Training College founded by Pastor Kenneth E. Hagin in Oklahoma, USA. He also attended Utanga University in Angola for Environmental Health and Safety Engineering, further broadening his knowledge and expertise.

He has authored and edited books, given lectures, and coached individuals and groups in theology, ministry, and leadership.
